Terms & Conditions
These terms govern every booking made with Guru Kripa Tent & Decorations. Confirming a booking (by paying an advance, signing a quotation or written/WhatsApp confirmation) means you accept these terms.
Quotations & bookings
- Quotations are valid for 15 days and are based on the details shared by you (date, venue, guest count, items).
- A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the advance payment mentioned in the quotation (normally 50% of the total).
- Dates are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis; we cannot hold a date without an advance.
Payments
- The balance amount is payable before the start of the event setup unless agreed otherwise in writing.
- Additional items or guests requested on the event day are billed extra at the quoted rates.
- GST and other government taxes are charged as applicable. Payments can be made by cash, UPI, bank transfer or cheque (subject to clearance).
Client responsibilities
- Provide accurate venue address, timings, venue permissions and access for our vehicles and crew.
- Ensure electricity and water are available at the venue, or inform us in advance so we can arrange generators/tanks at extra cost.
- Take care of our materials during the event. Loss or damage to tents, furniture, lights, décor items or crockery caused by guests will be charged at replacement cost.
Our responsibilities
- Deliver and install the agreed items on schedule with a supervisor present during the event.
- Use clean, well-maintained materials and fresh flowers of the agreed quality.
- Dismantle and clear the venue within the agreed time after the event.
Weather & force majeure
Outdoor functions are subject to weather. We will suggest waterproof alternatives, but we are not liable for disruption caused by rain, storms, government orders, strikes, curfews or other events beyond our control. In such cases we will try to reschedule your booking to a mutually convenient date.
Changes & cancellations
Changes to the order should be shared at least 7 days before the event. Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Photographs
We may photograph our setups for our portfolio and social media. Please tell us in advance if you prefer that photos of your event are not published.
Liability & jurisdiction
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the affected service. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Udaipur, Rajasthan.
